Note: Homer & Cookie owned Banta & Stude Construction for several years. Cookie was also a realtor & owned Western Reality for several years and was a RN and taught nursing. Homer & Cookie were both past presidents of the Missouri Quarter Hose Association. Homer additionally served as a National Director for American Quarter Horse. They traveled & did lots of horse shows. They were on this farm for 40 years & married for 59 years.
