Rick and his wife, Melanie, own an auction facility (The Moffat Center) which is located about 15 minutes east of Jefferson City, off of Highway 50 on County Road 604. The Moffat Center is a 12,000 square foot building and is located on approximately 8.5 acres. The facility is climate controlled. It is large enough and is appropriately segregated so that it can accommodate several auction rings running simultaneously. Loading and unloading at The Moffat Center is user friendly due to the design of the facility and the overhead doors that are tall enough to allow for truck and cargo trailers to pull through.

The Moffat Center has a computerized clerking and cashiering system with drivers license scanners. This system provides consignors a detailed listing of their items and the selling price. It also provides buyers with faster check out time and a detailed list of the property they purchased.  There is a security system in place for the protection of all.  There are additionally locking show cases available for security during the sale of valuable small items.

The Moffat Center can accommodate a crowd of several hundred people. There is plenty of room for parking. It is a smoke free facility. We have seating for over 350 people for gallery type or specialty auctions. We have a concession stand on grounds that provides auction goers with yummy food choices: Hamburgers, French Fries, Hot Dogs, Pie, Other Goodies, Soda, etc.
